Jazz
DESCRIPTION
Jazz is a medium size red-maroon apple with green and yellow-orange patches. The flesh is yellow in color, dense and crisp, pear-like in flavor and sweetness, and low in acidity. This late-maturing apple is valued for its long keeping quality.
HISTORY
Jazz is a 1980s New Zealand cross between Braeburn and Gala. It was introduced to the marketplace in 2000.
