- 2 New England apples, cored and sliced in spears
- 2 pears, cored and sliced in spears
- 2 ribs celery, chopped
- 2 T lemon juice
- ½ t vanilla
- ¼ c walnut or canola oil
- salt to taste
- 2 t tarragon
- ½ c toasted walnuts
- Brie or bleu cheese
- In a medium bowl, place fruit and celery.
- In a small mixing bowl, whisk together lemon juice, vanilla, oil, and salt, and pour over salad.
- Top with tarragon, walnuts, and cheese.
