DESCRIPTION

Haralson is a crisp and juicy apple with white flesh and an aromatic pineapple or lime scent. This hardy apple keeps its shape when baked. A mild fresh-eating apple, it is also prized by cider and wine makers. Haralsons are harvested in late September to early October.

HISTORY

Haralson was first grown at the University of Minnesota and later introduced in 1923. In its heritage is the apple variety, Malinda.
