DESCRIPTION

Paw Paw was named for Paw Paw, Michigan, where it was discovered in the mid-1800s. Dark red with prominent lenticels and a little russeting, its yellow flesh is crisp, moderately juicy, and mostly sweet in flavor, with a hint of tartness. It is a good keeper.
