Ananas Reinette is a golden, spotted, russeted heirloom apple known for its crisp and juicy flesh with a distinctive pineapple taste. This small to medium apple is ready for harvest in early October, and it will keep in storage for four or five months, developing a stronger pineapple flavor during storage.


Ananas Reinette's origin is not certain. Some trace it back to 1820s Netherlands, and others as far back as 16th Century France. Ananas Reinette translates to "Royal Pineapple."
