Karmijn de Sonnaville

DESCRIPTION

Karmijn de Sonnaville is an apple with red, orange, yellow, and green coloring. Its rich, sugary-acid flavor and its crisp, juicy flesh makes it an especially good juice apple.

HISTORY

Karmijn was first grown in the Netherlands in 1949 and was commercially distributed beginning in 1971. Its parentage includes Cox's Orange Pippin and Jonathan.
