Apple-Cranberry Sauce

Total time: 

  • 6 oz fresh or frozen cranberries (1/2 pkg)
  • 4 large New England apples, cored, peeled, and diced
  • ½ c water
  • ¾ c sugar
  1. Place all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. Simmer until apples are just tender.
Sauce will thicken and color will blend as it cools.
